Consultant, Responsible Investment and Health

 Chup is a leading Consultant in our responsible investment and health work. For over five years she has helped Chronos deliver projects, undertake detailed research and support coalitions and programmes on a range of social and environmental topics including mental health, climate and net zero, and the governance of AI. She holds an MSc from the University of Oxford on Nature, Society and Environmental Governance. 

Senior Analyst

Cora is an experienced researcher and analyst at Chronos. She works alongside Chronos’ subject matter experts in areas such as climate change, nature, responsible chemicals, food and health and responsible investment. She has led on, or supported, the development of a range of tools and methodologies to advance clients’ sustainability goals, and helped manage secretariats and coalitions. She holds an MSC in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Consultant, Responsible Investment

Seb is an experienced Consultant across our responsible investment and mining work. He has a decade of experience in sustainability and responsible investment consulting with a specialism in the mining sector. He takes a leading role in the research and secretariat services that Chronos provides to the Global Investor Commission on Mining 2030. Prior to Chronos, Seb spent several years at the Principles for Responsible Investment and at Digby Wells Environmental. He holds an MSC in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.

Principal Consultant, Animal Welfare

Nathan is responsible for leading our work in the food and health sectors, including management of major multi-stakeholder programmes such as the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW) and the Global Coalition for Animal Welfare (GCAW). He has 15 years’ experience developing and embedding animal welfare standards across global supply chains with specialist experience in engaging NGOs, investors and customers in high-scrutiny contexts and in supporting businesses to translate animal welfare commitments into measurable delivery. He is a qualified veterinarian and holds a BVSc in Veterinary Science from the University of Liverpool.

Consultant, Health

Hannah is a seasoned Consultant who takes a lead on Chronos’ work in health, including mental health. She has over 15 years’ experience in responsible investment and sustainability, specialising in technical consultancy, project management and delivery on global benchmarking, best practice, and disclosure initiatives. Prior to Chronos she worked for Vigeo Eiris and then Moody’s. She holds an MSC in Development Studies from Birbeck University.

Consultant, Animal Welfare

Katherine is a practiced Consultant who contributes to our extensive corporate work on animal welfare, sustainable food and health-related issues. She has over a decade of experience in animal welfare related issues and supports the management and delivery of several flagship programmes including the Global Coalition for Animal Welfare (GCAW), and the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW). Prior to Chronos she worked for the Alliance to Save our Antibiotics, and she holds an MA in Magazine Journalism from City St George’s, University of London.

Analyst

 Ria is an expert researcher and data analyst. She has a specialism in animal welfare, supporting activity for the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW) and the Global Coalition on Animal Welfare (GCAW), but also contributes to the company’s wider work including its nature and responsible investment activity. Prior to Chronos she was a Senior Scientific Officer with the UK Government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. She holds an MSc in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation from the University of Bristol.

Analyst

Josie is a skilled data analyst and research practitioner. She supports the wider team in a range of areas including Chronos’ work in responsible investment, biodiversity and nature and animal welfare. Prior to Chronos she worked at The Gantry Group in New York. She holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Briony is a sustainability manager with over 20 years’ experience, focusing on sustainability strategy and policy, carbon inventories, behavioural change and sustainability reporting for multinational companies.

Arisa provides specialist consultancy on sustainable investment programmes and has deep experience of Asian and European financial markets.

Elisa provides specialist animal welfare consultancy including support for programme planning and execution in relevant markets. Elisa also supports Chronos’ food and animal welfare programmes providing research, analysis, and training services.

Dr Heleen van de Weerd is a global farm animal welfare consultant whose specialism lies in working with clients to apply welfare knowledge in order to improve the quality of animals lives as well as business performance.

Darren is a specialist on animal welfare and sustainable agriculture and provides expertise with a specific focus on companies in the Americas, Asia and Australasia regions.

Jon provides is an agri-food consultant whose specialism lies in nutrition and the behavioural sciences. He is an experienced networker, manager and researcher. Working effectively in both academic and commercial environments, Jon is a strategist and an innovator and has developed several new multidisciplinary platforms of research which operate across competencies.
